The New Waves is a 5-piece function band based in Edinburgh, covering a wide range of music from the 60s all the way through to the 90s and 10s with a constant eye on the latest hits guaranteed to get you up on your feet dancing. The band is comprised of a selection of accomplished musicians all studying towards a music degree in higher education, with a full line up of bass, guitar, drums, keys and vocals with all the band being highly competent in more than one instrument. They cover a wide range of genres giving all your favourites and classics a refreshed and energetic sound, making sure there’s something for all of the audience to get down to.
