Pictism hail from Edinburgh, Scotland, and perform as anything from a 2-piece to a full 7-piece ensemble, according to the occasion, with a setlist that includes traditional Scottish and Irish music, and contemporary covers with a Celtic twist... from Burns to Cash, with a few jigs and reels thrown in for good measure! The complete line-up includes male and female vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, fiddle, mandolin and tin whistle.
The Holy Ghosts
The Holy Ghosts formed in January 2012 to spread the good word of the rock n roll gospel. They are a five-piece band from Edinburgh playing Rock n' Roll/Country with a dash of the Blues. They draw inspiration from the R’n’B, Country Rock and Americana bands of the 60s and 70s and apply a unique twist of Scottish young manhood. Performing live remains the groups forte with the use of razor sharp guitars, wailing harmonica, honky tonk piano, spine tingling three part harmonies and charismatic stage presence make them an exciting live performance.
