The Mad Ferret Band are a Scottish duo, known on the folk scene for their hard hitting blend of traditional and contemporary Folk music. Their lively, energetic performances are packed with “blisteringly fast Mandolin solos”, tight harmonies, driving Cajon beats and earth-moving Guitar sounds. The influence from both Scottish and Irish folk music has helped shape their unique sound.
The Duo features Chris Woods on Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals and Sandy Stirton on Guitar, Cajon and Vocals.
Based in Perth, Scotland they are an extremely hard working band having played an average of 180 gigs a year across the U.K. and Europe. Since forming in 2012 they have been honing their music by playing the pub and small venue scene. They look to be even busier in 2015, with more festival performances and European tours on the way.

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band are a truly electric four-piece ceilidh band with fiddle, bass (of course), electric guitar and drums (electric too), adding an exciting, modern twist to traditional Ceilidh music. We have more years combined experience than we care to admit (nearly as much as the Bass Rock itself!) both at home and internationally, and hail from Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Central Belt.
