Dohnut (formerly known as eating disorder): "A Disco, Punk, Rave unit... Cake n Chaos."
Fantastic Lights: "We are here to lift your soul! Sun comedown or Sun come up. We have the soundtrack! Tripping the light fantastic." Fantastic – (def:) Extraordinarily good, imaginative; beyond reality. Lights – (def:) Natural agents stimulating sight, visibility and illumination. "Fantastic Lights are with us. Their music is the stuff of love and redemption performed with a unified joy and soaked in wild cider abandon. The triple vocal capabilities with iridescent harmonies, double guitar interweaving, and single classically pounding keyboard all driving on top of a solidly sweet bass groove and completely unique wavelike flow of spine-tingling percussion.
The resulting sound provided by this coming together of all different styles and influences is that of a soulful liberation and a sound that calls upon the audience to feel the music as one. There can be no doubt that the next stage is that of the festival circuit in 2018, where they will be provided with the perfect platform to truly live up to their shining name. When asked if they had any requirements towards my arrival at their recording hub to be granted a rare interview, this writer received a two word email in reply. Bring whisky. What a night. What a band. I now understand what it means to completely trip the light fantastic. Catch them if you can. Yaldy!' - Joseph Graft (freelance music press 05/01/18).
Greenfinch: "Getting around as much as we can before Brexit. Greenfinch have been performing in Scotland for several years in various guises from solo acoustic to seven piece with glockenspiel, piano, cello and trumpet. Recently an urge to spread their wings produced performances at king Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Mugstock festival, Stereo and Live at Troon festival. The Spring will see the release of a six track EP and a short tour before the festival season begins anew."
We are fundraising and raising awareness for Scottish CND and SCND Education. The Scottish Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament works for the abolition of British nuclear weapons as a step toward the global elimination of all Weapons of Mass Destruction. Imagine peace. Think peace. Act peace. Spread peace.
See you on the dance floor and thank you for your support.
