The Blueswater are an award-winning act from Edinburgh who regularly perform across Scotland and the UK. The band brings in the sounds of gritty old-school rhythm and blues, drawing inspiration specifically from the Chicago blues style of Chess records, building guitar riffs and harmonica solos around a tight rhythm section.
Jordan Murray is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was born on January 8th 1993 in Dalbeattie, a small town in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. Jordan started to sing and write songs in February 2013. After playing many gigs throughout the summer, securing local radio air-time and gaining a local following he decided to move to Scotland’s capital Edinburgh in September of the same year to pursue a career in music. He made the decision to drop out of Music College in April 2014 to give all his time to writing songs and performing gigs as an independent, self employed musician.
Now based in Edinburgh, Jordan is an up and coming artist in the country’s capital. After an appearance on STV Glasgow’s 'The Riverside Show', he has started to gain recognition across the country and further afield. Recently Jordan travelled across America to record his new E.P, which was released last summer. He has also played shows in Nashville and recorded part of his E.P on the famous Music Row.
