Music For Oskar's Journey Fundraiser
After the very sad and sudden passing of Oskar as a family we have arranged a fundraising event to say thank you to all the nursing staff and doctors in the Neonatal Unit at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary who took such great care of Oskar and helped to give us two wonderful years of joy and love with our little one.
We hope that by doing this the unit can continue all the great work they do giving love and hope to other families.
We would love to see everyone there on the night to raise as much as we can to help the Neonatal Unit, we understand that not all will be able to attend but please, if you can, buy a ticket it would mean so very much to us.
A big thank you to Stramash for hosting us and all the bands for taking the time to play wonderful music for Music For Oskars's Journey.

The Ol 'Switcheroo
5 performers in one band with 5 very different styles, each taking a turn at the mic. James touches on the 50's feel rockabilly/blues and country. Cameron with new wave, indie, pop and some original material, he is also a mean cajon player. Alan adds a taste of soul, blues, jazz and anthemic numbers to the set when he's not got his mouth full with the harmonica. Joe gives us a harder edge with rock and funk numbers whilst geeing it laldy on the bass. We are pleased to announce the newest addition, Alison who has helped to unlock a vast new potential for our band, the things she can do with that guitar with inspiration from Rodrigo y Gabriela to 90's Pop!
The Mad Ferret Band are a Scottish duo, known on the folk scene for their hard hitting blend of traditional and contemporary Folk music. Their lively, energetic performances are packed with “blisteringly fast Mandolin solos”, tight harmonies, driving Cajon beats and earth-moving Guitar sounds. The influence from both Scottish and Irish folk music has helped shape their unique sound.
The Duo features Chris Woods on Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals and Sandy Stirton on Guitar, Cajon and Vocals.
Based in Perth, Scotland they are an extremely hard working band having played an average of 180 gigs a year across the U.K. and Europe. Since forming in 2012 they have been honing their music by playing the pub and small venue scene. They look to be even busier in 2015, with more festival performances and European tours on the way.
