Classic rock covers - from dancy 70's AOR cheese to grinding 80's metal. With balls to the wall vocals from Mercy (check out the guns!), Pounding drums right in the groove from Steve, shreddin guitar from Dave and thunderous bass riff from Tony. Will get your heart pumping, yer feet dancing and your whole body sweating and wanting more, more more!!!
Playing and performing what we love with a passion since 2006.
Anton & The Colts
The start of 2014 saw Anton & The Colts take a new direction. Seasoned veterans of the Glasgow folk/acoustic scene, Anton (lead vocals/guitar) and Roscoe (guitar/backing vocals) began auditions for new members, eventually recruiting Michael McGill on bass and Dillon Haldane on drums. A slight name change cemented this new beginning – Anton & The Colts was born. Since their live debut in June, the band has played numerous shows including a sold-out gig at Glasgow’s famous King Tut’s in October. Their sound draws on numerous influences: the pristine vocal harmonies of country and bluegrass, raucous bluesy guitars, the tight swinging rhythms of classic soul and funk with Anton’s sweet smokey growl completing the mix. A band one reviewer called "an ideal accompaniment to strong drink..... like Robbie Robertson & Rick Danko having a jam session in the company of Mr Jack Daniel"... Bluesbunny
